Sarah-Louise
Young is an actress, singer and stand-up. After training at Mountview she went
on to appear in a variety of work. Her stage credits include SNOW WHITE
at the National Theatre, COME BLOW YOUR HORN (Royal Exchange), MONEY
TO BURN (The Venue, West End) and she recently wrote and appeared in her
one-woman show CONFESSIONS OF A PARALYSED PORN STAR at this year's
Edinburgh Festival to critical acclaim.
On television
she has appeared in THE JURY (Granada), DOCTORS (BBC), HOLBY
CITY (BBC), LOOK AROUND YOU (BBC) and NO ANGELS (Channel 4).
She played the lead in the feature film THE BLIND SPOT (Avalon/Cryptic
Colouration) and has appeared in numerous short films.
In 2006
Sarah-Louise was a finalist in Hackney Empire New Act of the Year and as an
associate director of Millionth Muse Productions she runs regular cabaret and
comedy nights, including the alternative talent show, Cheese 'n'
Crackers on the Battersea Barge, London.
Sarah-Louise can
next be seen in Kay Mellor's new drama STRICTLY CONFIDENTIAL (BBC) and
is currently preparing for a German tour of A CHRISTMAS
CAROL.
