Before moving full time into writing for children, Polly Kelly worked as a graphic designer and copywriter in theatre and an editor in publishing. In 1999 Polly was commissioned to write on the 4th series of HUBUBB - BBC 1's cult hit children's television series. The following year she was invited back to write on the 5th series. In 2000 Polly became Senior Writer (fiction) at the children's website missdorothy.com - where she continues to work on a freelance basis. She is currently a commissioned writer on BALAMORY for BBC Television and has recently finished writing CHUCKLEVISION.
