 IN DEEP DARK
CUTS
Award winning
actor/writers Alan Francis and Barnaby Power explore the darker side of human
nature through a series of wickedly funny character creations. A drug addicted
businessman, a cabaret singing tourettes sufferer and a pop impresario with a
sordid past are just some of society's oddballs who combine to form an hour of
black comedy and incisive observations.
ALAN
FRANCIS is currently preparing for a UK tour of Anthony Neilson's
production of The Wonderful World of Dissocia with the Scottish National
Theatre. He has previously completed a successful run of his own play, Jeffrey
Dahmer Is Unwell, at the Kings Head Theatre, London and was recently seen in
the new BBC Sitcom Pulling. Alan is also an acclaimed writer for television and
radio and has written for Alistair McGowan, Ronni Ancona and Alan
Davies.
BARNABY
POWER's stage credits include: Faust (Parts I & II), Laurel &
Hardy, The Wonderful World of Dissocia and Edward Gant's Amazing feats of
loneliness. Radio includes: Be prepared and Stamp Collecting with legs for
Radio 4. He is currently co-writing The Laughter Gene for Radio 4.
Directed by Jack
James 'Deep Dark Cuts' has already enjoyed a critically acclaimed run at this
year's Edinburgh Festival.
